Fundetec has published the list of finalists for the V edition of the awards held annually and recognize the impetus for the Information Society which is the work of private or public entities, organizations and businesses of all kinds. They are 11 projects classified by the entity that develops and to whom it may concern, whether citizens or SMEs and freelancers.
Fundetec has received 163 applications from 16 autonomous communities. The four winners, chosen by a jury composed of professionals in the Information Society, will be announced during the presentation on Thursday 28 January in Madrid, to be broadcast in streaming through the awards website. The winners will receive a trophy, there will also be a prize of 15,000 € in the case of non-profit entities. For now the finalists are:
Best Project for Public or Private Entity for Citizens:
- Basque Government, through the creation of a network of 276 public schools that work to reduce the digital gap among citizens. They formed to 240,000 users have also learned digital red eAdministration.
- TVE by Open Camara 2.0, which needs no introduction and discovering the Internet, its characters and the most interesting initiatives of the Network bringing new technologies to citizens.
- IAVANTE Foundation (Andalusia), in its Andalusia Health Living Lab project, an open community between the Administration, the University, businesses and citizens.
- San Francisco Clinic Foundation (Castilla y Leon), by www.tutambien.es dedicated to healthy aging and available to the health of the elderly. A project that facilitates contacts and makes it useful for this group the advent of new technologies.
- Promises Foundation, for its program of Talent Development Assistance in La Rioja, dedicated to students in 3rd grade considered gifted. The program allows even computer and connection to families who can not have it.
- We Intramuros Women's Association for his project Chicass10 led to the inmates of the jail Teixeiro (A Coruña) for the purpose of promoting new technologies in their literacy and ability to communicate.
Best Project for Public or Private Entity for SMEs, Micro and Self:
- Municipality of Madrid, Madrid On Rails, which promotes the use of open source technology in SMEs, promoting a better quality of service and competitiveness in the business. It offers advice on creating projects that meet the needs of each company.
- General Intervention Castilla-La Mancha, for its electronic billing service, which allows management to transform paper invoices into digital format, making it easier for businesses, public bodies and the self share business processes, reduce inefficiencies and costs and increase the level service of your company.
- CGB Computing (Castilla y León) for their Web ESLA solution that enables small businesses without technical skills, computer design or create your own website and manage their information easily and efficiently. Provides real time information of employees, financial situation, workflows, users, projects, assets and documentation.
Best nonprofit Project for SMEs, Micro and Self:
- Banesto Foundation for his project Emprendedorestv.com, a WebTV channel that shows the business stories of over 500 entrepreneurs and business Spanish and international.
- Autonomous Union of Traders and Carreño Gijon (Asturias) for their projects Gijon Commerce and Showcases Interactive TV, which connects businesses to the Internet by targeting its customer offerings in an original and effective. To do this, have an online television with promotional content.
- Spanish Seniors for Technical Cooperation (SECOT), for its Online Advisory Platform, which offers advice to entrepreneurs, SMEs, micro enterprises and non profit entities that wish to start your project.
